In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, All praise belongs to Almighty Allah, who granted us this noble opportunity to serve society through the Nithanam Baithulmal Foundation.
The word “Nithanam” holds multiple meanings. The most important among them are:
self-discipline, remaining detached from the intoxication of wealth, maintaining balance, honesty, and justice, and conducting oneself with restraint in both action and thought. Especially when handling financial contributions, one must act with utmost care and ensure that assistance reaches the rightful recipients — this is the primary reason behind our name.
The Arabic term “Baithulmal” means “Islamic public treasury.” Hence, we have named our foundation Nithanam Baithulmal Trust. (The correct meaning of “Nithanam” varies according to context.)
If beneficiaries themselves desire to appear on our website, we will respect that. If they do not, we will keep their information private.
If donors wish, the information about the recipients can be sent to them privately.

We are deeply committed to implementing various welfare programs for the upliftment of the poor, the weak, and the underprivileged in society. In our region, we work to support poor and simple families through:
Interest-free collateral loans to help entrepreneurs — this is our primary goal.
Public awareness campaigns through street-corner programs, educating people based on current needs, and presenting Islam in a simple and accessible manner.
Hospital visitation, God-willing — visiting patients admitted in government hospitals, comforting them, praying for their recovery, and providing medical assistance.
Wealth is nothing but the grace of Allah.
We are obliged to reflect on the conditions of those who are given wealth and those who are not. Often, people without wealth excel in knowledge, intelligence, education, and sharp thinking — yet remain poor and struggle for daily survival. Therefore, wealth is not gained merely through one’s ability, but through Allah’s mercy.
When those with means help those without, both benefit greatly.Whatever good you spend is for your own benefit. You spend only seeking Allah’s pleasure. Whatever good you spend will be returned to you in full. You will not be wronged.
(Qur’an 2:272)
Qur’an 2:261 (Arabic & Meaning):
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the path of Allah is like a grain that sprouts seven ears; in every ear there are a hundred grains. Allah multiplies (the reward) for whom He wills. Allah is Vast and All-Knowing.”
This verse gives us an easy-to-understand example: just as fertile soil produces abundant crops from a single seed, Allah multiplies the reward of those who spend for His sake — up to seven hundred times. SubhanAllah! Truly, Allah’s mercy is vast.

Who we are
We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can raise a child and create a better future for them.
We started extending help to needy children and youth who were eager to study and work for a better life. This moment intensified when we found that there were many such underprivileged children who needed help with food, shelter and education. Our team expanded and we spread out in different regions to make sure we cover all possible areas and help as many children as possible.
We now run shelter homes, schools and a reasonable mess that helps such needy young people. We also have our helpline offices spread throughout the country so one can approach us anytime they need help.

Whether it is a reassuring conversation, financial help, education, professional training, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that everyone gets support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.
